Blended Learning - Time is a valuable thing. Blended learning allows you to take the first part of the training online, which allows you to learn at your own pace. You also have the option of going through the course in an abbreviated format and testing out of lessons with which you may already be familiar. Your final exam is taken at the end of the online session. And you don’t need to worry about interruptions at home from kids, phone calls or ringing doorbells. Red Cross Web-based training can be stopped and started according to your busy schedule. The second part of your training will be led by a certified Red Cross instructor. This practice and assessment session will ensure that you learn the skills necessary to save a life in an emergency. It is approximately a 1 - 4 hour session, depending upon what certification you are requesting. Programs include Lay Responder Adult, Child and Infant CPR, First Aid and AED. For a demonstration of the new web based training, please visit www.redcross.org/websites/nhq.html or to look at a list of available course dates click here.
