NEW Two-Year Certification for Healthcare Providers

Created to allow greater flexibility for those who maintain professional-level CPR/AED skills, the new two-year certification is available for doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, medical and nursing students, EMTs, dental professionals, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, athletic trainers and other allied health personnel. All CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer/Healthcare Provider course certification beginning November 1, 2008 will have a validity period of 2 years. This is for courses held after this date only and does not apply to cardholders who have taken training before 11/1/2008. Please note that Lifeguards are not eligible for the 2 year certification.
